Vancouver’s own Ambur Braid makes her Music in the Morning debut following acclaimed appearances with the English National Opera and the Canadian Opera Company. Internationally recognized for her fearless virtuosity and dramatic intensity in roles such as Zerbinetta and the Queen of the Night, she brings operatic brilliance to the recital stage. The Globe and Mail has praised her “incandescent stage presence” and “astonishing vocal command.”
Braid is joined by the equally luminous Tina Chang for a moving morning of art songs from Britten, Korngold, and more.
