Back by popular demand, Jonathan Biss and Mark Steinberg return to explore masterworks by Schubert and Mozart. Piano and violin share equal voice, shaping wit, tenderness, and brilliance in equal measure. Biss has been described by The New Yorker as “an eloquent and insightful musician,” admired for intellectual rigor and expressive depth. Steinberg brings refined tone and natural elegance, forming a duo of rare subtlety.
These masterful artists will lend their broad expressive palettes to Schubert’s A minor Sonatina and Mozart’s Sonatas K. 302 and 481, exemplifying the spirit of dialogue at the heart of the program. A season finale rooted in clarity, partnership, and joy.
